All disc jockeys are trained by founder and entertainment director John Estrada. Each DJ is company certified after completing the required training. This ensures that all performances are professional and filled with fun for all ages. DJs are expected to further their education by reading trade publications, reviewing online trade information and attending Best Of Times updated training sessions.
John established Best Of Times Professional Disc Jockeys and Entertainers in 1988 and has provided professional disc jockey entertainment at all celebrations. His prior experience includes performing with various live bands. As a musician he performed in wedding bands, rock bands and a jazz ensemble. Derek joined the team in 2002 and has provided professional Disc Jockey entertainment at wedding Receptions, bar/bat mitzvahs and corporate Events. Derek is one of our master Disc Jockeys with 20 plus years experience in the Disc Jockey profession. He is passionate about entertaining and dancing. Derek is committed to entertaining. He provides outstanding professional entertainment at all celebrations.
Nick joined the team in 2011 and has provided professional DJ entertainment at weddings, corporate events, general celebrations and school dances. Nick always wanted to DJ since he was a teenager. Vince has been part of our team on and off since 1996. He also worked at his second love, catering weddings and private events. He eventually left the catering industry and passionately took his DJ career to the next level. Vince enjoys performing at all types of celebrations.
